How Hercules Got So Strong And How It Helped Him
The first reason Hercules is so strong, is because he is the son of Zeus - the king of all Gods. The second reason, is that he drank the milk of Hera (the queen of all the Gods) because she was deceived into feeding him. Alcmene had abandoned Hercules in the woods and Athena rescued the infant, and brought him to Hera. Hera , not knowing who the infant was, nursed him. He bit her, and Hera was so angry, she insisted the baby was returned to his mother. Hercules's strength helped him throughout his life. Hercules's strength was so extreme , he was considered stronger than even some of the Gods. Hera tried to kill Hercules as a kid , by putting snakes in his crib - but Hercules strangled them. In one of the twelve tasks, Hercules was to kill the Namean Lion. Hercules used his strength to strangle the lion, and he then wore the lion's skin (the lion's skin was impenetrable, which made Hercules even more powerful) throughout the rest of the tasks as armor. Because of this "armor" he was able to complete the 12 tasks assigned to him, in order to become immortal.
